Mr. Hageman is a member of US Agriculture’s Board of Managers, a member of US Agriculture’s Investment Committee, and serves as Chairman of the Board of Hageman Group, LLC. Steve was a founding partner of Remington Seeds, which grew to become the nation’s largest non-retail corn and soybean seed production, conditioning, and distribution company, producing twenty percent of the US seed corn and fifteen percent of the US soybean seed. Since the formation of Hageman Group in 2013, Steve has continued to expand investments in agriculture and commercial real-estate, including a 28,000 acre farm and ranching operation in Northeast Texas, which encompasses the 14,000 acre Hageman Reserve, a premier private hunting/outdoor club centered on a 65,000 square foot old world lodge. Steve currently serves in leadership positions with the Boone and Crockett Club and the Farm Foundation, and has previously served in a variety of leadership positions for the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA), US Grains Council, Purdue University’s College of Agriculture, and as Chairman of the Indiana FFA Foundation. Steve believes strongly in giving back through his time and charity donations. The Hageman Foundation was founded to support organizations focused on leadership, development, promotion of agriculture, and Christian values.
